Arsenal vs West Ham TIPS

Arsenal and West Ham meet for the second time in a week as they battle for a place in the EFL Cup semi-finals.

The two teams played out a 0-0 draw at London Stadium in the Premier League last Wednesday, with Javier Hernandez hitting the underside of the bar in injury time as three points went begging for the hosts.

West Ham recorded their biggest win of the calendar year with a 3-0 triumph at Stoke City last time out, while Arsene Wenger has voiced concerns over the Gunners' profligacy in front of goal after a narrow 1-0 victory over struggling Newcastle United.

Team news

Arsenal are likely to make a raft of changes for the visit of West Ham in the EFL Cup.

The likes of David Ospina, Mathieu Debuchy, Mohamed Elneny and Danny Welbeck will be hopeful of coming into the side as manager Arsene Wenger freshens things up ahead of Friday's Premier League clash against Liverpool.

Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) and Santi Cazorla (ankle) are definitely out while Theo Walcott's recent groin problem could keep him on the sidelines.

Provisional squad: Cech, Ospina, Macey, Mertesacker, Holding, Mustafi, Koscielny, Chambers, Monreal, Debuchy, Bellerin, Nelson, Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles, Wilshere, Willock, Xhaka, Elneny, Ozil, Iwobi, Sanchez, Welbeck, Lacazette, Giroud, Nketiah, Akpom.

Joe Hart will start in goal for West Ham after losing his place to Adrian for his loan team's last four Premier League matches.

Andy Carroll could also play after shaking off a back complaint, while Winston Reid is available again following his one-match ban but the game is likely to come too soon for Cheikhou Kouyate (hamstring) and Jose Fonte (ankle).

Provisional Squad: Hart, Adrian, Masuaku, Zabaleta, Collins, Reid, Cresswell, Noble, Lanzini, Obiang, Ogbonna, Arnautovic, Antonio, Carroll, Kouyate, Ayew, Sakho, Rice, Hernandez.

Predicted starting line-ups

Arsenal XI: Ospina, Debuchy, Chambers, Mertesacker, Maitland-Niles, Coquelin, Elneny, Walcott, Iwobi, Welbeck, Giroud

West Ham XI: Hart, Ogbonna, Reid, Cresswell, Ayew, Antonio, Obiang, Rice, Masuaka, Hernandez, Sakho
